The Association is keen to protect the privacy of its visitors, donors, and beneficiaries. We are committed to complying with all laws governing work within the Internet environment. Based on the Association’s principles—built on transparency and clarity—we have therefore drafted these rules relating to the Privacy Protection Policy.

This Privacy Policy represents an implied agreement between the Association’s website and all its users, including visitors, donors, and beneficiaries. Through the provisions contained herein, we clarify all data that is collected from them automatically or voluntarily, and we explain the reasons for collecting it and the areas in which we use it.

Protecting Your Personal Information

We recognize the importance of personal information to our visitors and valued donors, and we fully understand the challenges that may affect the safety of online transactions. Therefore, we make great efforts to protect this information by adopting the highest possible security standards for the website against cyberattacks, and we encrypt all data related to those we deal with.

We may use the data registered on the website to conduct surveys and collect feedback to improve the website and provide an easier and more effective user experience for visitors and users. We may also contact you when needed—for example, if you wish to donate to projects and charitable activities, or if you wish to learn about new projects and charitable work carried out by the Association. We do not share this data with external parties unless such parties are necessary to complete your request—for example (without limitation) SMS companies, cloud hosting providers, database service providers, and any party required to complete the store’s work—unless it is within aggregated data used for statistical and research purposes, without including any data that could be used to identify you.

Under normal circumstances, data is processed automatically (electronically) through designated applications and programs, without requiring employees to share or view such data. In exceptional cases (such as investigations and legal cases), employees of regulatory authorities or those who must view it may do so, subject to the provisions of the law and orders of judicial authorities.

How Do We Use the User’s Payment Card?

When a user makes a payment—whether using (Visa and MasterCard) or via (Mada)—the payment process is completed through the bank’s page that provides the electronic payment gateway service. No banking information is stored for donors, such as “account number, password, or any information related to the user’s credit card.” Such information remains secured by the service-providing bank. Please note that electronic payment service providers (Visa, MasterCard, or Mada) use the latest methods to protect payment-related information online.

User Responsibility for Protecting Privacy

To protect User Data, users are advised:

Not to provide any confidential information by phone or online unless they know the identity of the person or party receiving the information.

To contact the store’s technical support immediately if the user believes that another person has obtained their login information for the store account or any other confidential information.

The National Center for the Non-Profit Sector is the supervisory authority over the Association.

The Association’s store has full freedom to update this Privacy Policy at any time, including adding or changing any of its provisions.

Arabic is the adopted language for applying the provisions and terms of this Privacy Policy. If a dispute arises in interpreting any text written in another language, the Arabic text shall prevail.
